About the Author
My name is Alexandria Tso, and I currently attend Saratoga High School in California. I was born in Stanford CA, where I lived for a few years before moving to Asia, living mostly in Tokyo with a couple of years in Beijing. I care deeply about global warming and particularly the melting ice sheets, because the melting is irreversible and the lives of all future generations will be profoundly impacted. I was inspired to take action after studying Earth Sciences last summer with Ms. Justine Kimball and I’m grateful to my science teacher Ms. Michelle Juhasz for encouraging me to enter the Google Science Fair. I have met with Dr. Akasofu at the University of Alaska, and been advised by Professor Humphrey Professor at the University of Wyoming and Professor Freyberg at Stanford University. I hope to connect with other members of the IARC team, the team at JPL (NASA), University Kansas Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets, the SIGMA team at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and other people with similar interests and continue pursuing my research interests.
